PFLAG Coeur d'Alene / Kootenai County
About Us
PFLAG Coeur d’Alene / Kootenai County is a local chapter of PFLAG, the nation’s largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.
Our chapter was formed in 2023 to provide a welcoming, affirming space for families, friends, and LGBTQ+ individuals in North Idaho. From the beginning, we have been rooted in the belief that connection, education, and compassion can change lives and strengthen our community.
Over the years, PFLAG Coeur d’Alene / Kootenai County has offered peer support meetings, educational programs, and community outreach focused on fostering understanding and belonging. We work to ensure that LGBTQ+ people of all ages feel seen, valued, and supported.
Today, our chapter continues to serve as a trusted local resource, bringing people together across generations and backgrounds to build a more inclusive and affirming Kootenai County for everyone.
